Dear Friends,

As some of you may know, my father is currently seeking treatment in Singapore. He has been hospitalised since Friday, August 28, 2007, due to excrutiating pains that got progressively worse.

To make my father's complex blood condition easier to understand, he has a blood problem that makes it hard for his bone marrow to produce platelets at this point.
Platelets are clotting factors in the blood that stop bleeding.
Therefore, just like in KL, my father requires very frequent platelet transfusions. And more so now. Sadly, our number of friends in Singapore is limited so we are asking for your help to find platelet donors for my father.

Platelet donation is similar to blood donation. Your blood will be tested and then you will be called to the hospital to donate when necessary.

If you can please send out this e-mail (CC-ing me) as soon as possible to your friends and family in Singapore. Also, if you do head down to Singapore often, you can get your blood tested to donate platelets too.

Janice's Hong Kong Itinerary (edited.....)

Due to popular demand of our itinerary in Hong Kong, this is what was recommended by Janice and what we kinda did..(Thanks Jan for the effort!)

Friday
1) Explore Causeway Bay (there’s Sogo, Island Beverly - a bit costly, loads of those small shops here and there, Times Square for the usual big name brands, including a Lane Crawford).

2) Central. Can shop in IFC but it’s all the uber expensive brands BUT in case you are keen.

3) Can shop in H&M for a while before going to Yung Kee for expensive famous Roast Goose dinner. (Must reserve in advance the seats, and quite pricy) H&M closes at 9.30 or 10 so better shop first, eat later heh. Go for a drink at LKF

Saturday
1) Wake up for dim sum. Make way to Mong Kok for cheap ass shopping. There’s a Esprit warehouse too.

2) From Mong Kok, we can go to Tsim Sha Tsui where there is a mix of cheap random small shops or a big mall called Harbour City. Dinner anywhere in TST or Mong Kok.

3) Can go clubbing if not too tired out from shopping bouncers have one heck of a bad attitude and clubbing is generally a very expensive affair.

Sunday
1) Wake up for traditional HK breakfast (e.g. instant noodles with bread, luncheon meat and fried egg).

2) Can make way to Prada warehouse. Accomplish whatever shopping that was not done the day before.

3) We can also go Stanley Market which is like a sort of beach place/Boat Quay place but I don’t think it’s particularly great. But it’s away from the mad big buildings and got a bit of shopping.

Monday
1) **** bought quite a bit here**** Outlet shopping, there’s a new place in ‘Tung Chung’ which is about a 40 min MTR ride from causeway bay, where they have Nike factory outlets, Esprit outlets, La saunza, Agnes B .

Been feeling anti-social for the last couple of weeks. Would rather curl up in my room and watch Bleach/ Prince of Tennis..

For those who aren't aware and wondering what the hack I'm watching, well that's anime to you.

I've watched to the lastest episode for both, now I've got to wait every other week for the new releases. =p bleh. it's just way too long a wait.

Any other good suggestions for anime? Aside from Naruto and Eyeshield 21 that is.

Anyway, if you don't hear or see me around... you'll know why. Not fit for socializing at the moment. Everytime i go coffee/ dinner, I space out and wonder, when can i go home.... bad.

Sorry Jan... no pix. It was late, I was tired... and really... was too lazy to put everything together to take a pix.

Yes, as you can gather from the para above, I bought a no. of things. Stress.... a no.

I believe tt's all....Yep, went with a have filled suit case, came back with a full one.. =D You've just got to love shopping in HK during sale period. FYI, majority of the things we bought are from Esprit... don't ask...

Food's not too shabby either, however, it's expensive... think an average meal is RM16. Drink and noodle soup. The cheapest meal i reckon is the one we had for dim sum...

Let's see, what else about Hong Kong.. There's lots of branded stores, lots of mainland chinese, Bloody hot and then it started raining the last few days.. @#$~!!

Btw, Thanks Jan for putting us up at your place and bringing us around... We'll definately pay you another visit next year before you come back.... so, don't miss us too much....kekekee....
