Busy Busy June....
June has been mad.......
I was non stop on the go. no kidding...
2nd Weekend of June - Bangkok (3 days 2 nights..)
Shopping was excellent...!! We bought loads of stuff. If you ever go Bangkok, just go to this place called Platinum. It's a wholesalers market but meant for the masses. Seriously, of the 4 of us who went, 3 of us ended up spending most of our money on the 1st day. Yes, you're looking at one of the 3.... guilty as charged. I couldn't resist.... it's so damn cheap... 1/3 the price we get here!
Lucky for me, I lost "interest" in buying stuff the next 2 days (partly because not much money left) =D
Another MUST DO on the list is: Massage! It's RM 35 for 2hours full body massage!! DAMN FREAKIN CHEAP!!!!!
As for night life... no Patong... much to the disappointment of a certain someone...on Saturday night, we checked out this club called Santika. The building used to be a church... so along with the theme... there's a HUGE lighted cross inside the building. Somehow, it just feels wrong, what with people drinking, dancing and playing loud music there..
Overall, EXCELLENT TRIP!!! Needless to say, the trip will be repeated again next year.... =D
3rd Weekend of June - Singapore
Went down together with Rachel and Jo on Friday. It was a real mad rush just to make it for the 6.30pm bus at One Utama from Office.
Must say, didn't spend much time with the 2 chickas in Singapore.. Sorry... had planned the weekend in advance.... was planning to catchup with friends...
This trip down was mostly to catch up with the zhu zhus, as well as the one from Shanghai, who was flying off sunday that week. Jan from Hong Kong was also around. Was really a good time of catching up. Haven't seen everyone for a good 2-3 months, some even longer.
Met up with most people, with the exception of a mr TomatoBall... who FFK US...!!!! YOU OWE US BIG TIME!! Somemore I came all the way from KL!!!
Friday night on arrival in Singapore, brought the chickas to Clark Quay. Was a nice walk. We were trying to decide where to have coffee. So many restaurants, so many choices..... we ended up in coffee club... hhahaaa..... so much for choices. Seriuosly though, I was checking out what everyone was wearing.. and conclusion, malaysian girls are not as trendy.. yes yes... like DUH.. I'll leave it at that.
Saturday night we checked out St James Power Station. It's very much like MOS, except it's a Singapore version. Many rooms, getting around is like a maze. We tried getting into Dragonfly, the chhheeeeennnnaaaaa club there. Believe it or not, it's FULL HOUSE!! Of all the rooms, it's the only one which had a queue. SHocking. So much for a different experience. =D
Well, overall it was a very satisfying trip, having done what i've planned to do.. Suppose that's why I was sick the next few days with really bad running nose and all. No proper rest sigh....
4th Weekend of June - Church camp PD
Wouldn't say it's the most inspiring camp i've been to, not that i've been to many.. but it was a good time to get to know my cell members better and basically just bond... well, check out the pix below. There's more, but then, i wasn't in the pix, so didn't bother putting it up =D
Note though.... spotted a "hot" guy at church camp.... And no, didn't get chance to talk to him....let alone introduced.... sigh..

REally exhausted after camp... not that i wasn't tired to start with... Think half the time I was spacing off.. Maybe that's why I didn't find church camp extremely inspiring... Well, at least it wasn't peak period for me, unlike my cell leader. Poor thing had to bring work to do. Dateline was the week after camp.
Well, took leave the day after camp... it was a good thing i rested, was so ready to collapse at the end of it all...
Note to self, this weekend... stay home and rest!!!
But then..... got a 10am Mac session on sat... and then there's transformers to watch on friday.... as well as taxi service for bro =p.. Sunday. hmm, think i'm going out for a joy ride too... oh well... so much for taking things slow.
Got to recoup for the next couple of weeks. Got a new assignment with very tight dateline. If everything goes according to plan, the assignment should be done by early August. Just in time for my HK trip.... yes ppl...!! I'm going HK to visit JAN!! and SHOP....!! =D
