Exam.. Korean Drama...Resistance is Futile.. =(

Yep, exam's DEFINATELY around the corner. Progress was excellent the first few days...let me stress... the FIRST part... that is ...til introduction of "Princess Hours" Korean Drama, aka "Goong". (aka. reason I'm screwed)

Addictive it is. Damn Korean Dramas.... haha... kidding. It's one of those things we love to hate when we get hooked on.... ESPECIALLY around exam period. (Note to self, work on discipline issues)

Questions: are all Korean guys that tall??!! And what is with the helmet hair??!! Even then.. the lead just grows on you..so cute... sigh. The lead actress is very adorable too (her first acting role).

It took me all of 2 days, but I am done. Time to start studying again.. FULL SPEED. But sigh... although the show's over, feeling so mushy.. don't want it to end... sigh.... =D

Sky Bar

Went to Sky Bar last night. It was a really cool place if you just want to chill out. Although it'll be nicer if it had stopped raining earlier, fyi, it's an open air bar. Sky Bar is situated on the 33rd floor of Traders hotel. The view is excellent. Situated within the KLCC Area, we have an excellent view of KL and the Twin tower.

It's known as the second Luna bar. Another open air bar in the sky. Only con side to these two places. There's no roof .. If it rains, you're guaranteed to get wet. Have they thought of retractable roof?? FYI, it's monsoon season...

In Denial

Exam's in less than 2 weeks time. I'm so in denial.. Don't want to study. Reckon there's way too much distraction at home, what with the internet and Tv.

Damn rain!!

DAMNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's raining like crazy!! And do you know what it means in this country I live in?!! NO TV @#$%^&!!!!!

Everytime it rains, the tv goes blank, no broadcast. Reason. We use satellite. What kind of stupid system is it?!!! How stupid is this whole concept of not getting a tv signal every time it rains. It's a MAJOR issue considering there's monsoon season here!!

Thankful goodness they're not playing any of my fav programmes, else I'll be really p*ssed!!

Friendster

There's no saying it any other way.... I was bored...I went through my friendster list.... so SUE me.. =D It seems that friendster is actually useful, other than being a popularity site. While looking through my list, I realised I haven't kept in contact with quite a number of people.

As we grow older, do we become more selective in the friends we keep in contact with? Or have we just become lazy in maintaining these relationships.

With the help of friendster "message" I have shot off messages to some of my MIA friends to find out what they've been up to. It's been a while...

Another climbing expedition..

Yep, went for another wall climbing trip. This time we had a group of 4. The location "Summit" somewhere in Subang. The climbing gym is called Nomad: http://www.nomadadventure.com. IT's not as swanky as the previous weeks' gym. The plus though, we had the gym mostly to ourselves. So it didn't matter whether we made a fool of ourselves or not.

Things we learned, Belay... (I believe that's how it's spelt)

All you need to know about belaying... be nice to the person who is doing the Belaying coz literally, your life is in his/her hands. The belayer basically is your safety line in case you slip while climbing up, he is also the person who will lower you to the ground.

Clearer picture would be, when you climb up the wall, there's a rope attached to you. The belayer is the person on the floor that is holding your rope (to prevent you from falling..)The belayer will ensure that the rope is always tort, so when you slip, you don't go flying too much. When you reach the top of the wall, you'll have to let go and the belayer will lower you down. Hence, don't piss off the person belaying.

Any takers?!! =D I'll be the Belayer any time! ekeke...

Mornings

Why is it no matter how much earlier I wake up, I am still late for work.. WHY?!! Setting my clock 1/2 hour earlier doesn't seem to work (cursed is the day snooze button was invented!!). Actually waking up 15 mins earlier doesn't work either. ie today... I woke up 15 mins earlier then usual, AND I"M STILL LATE!!! IF NOT LATER??!!!! It's like a no win situation?!!! Should I even bother?!! Help!

Unfortunately the message board on the right has been down for a couple of days. So you all will have to restrain yourselves for a few more days while I figure out whether to switch services.... =D

Midnight reflexology

So it was 11pm when my dad and I drove round the deserted shop houses of TTDI. (Somewhere in PJ Malaysia) Everything was closed except the mamak store around the corner. We made 2 rounds around the block before finding the shop. Second floor, paper flyers stuck along the stairwell.

Yes, we found the Foot Reflexology shop....

The shop is a branch from dad's favourite haunt. Unfortunately the favourite haunt is fully booked for the night. Now doesn't that sound dodgy...

The branch is nothing to shout about. Imagine a mini office shop lot (1 floor) divided by partitions, the SHORT partitions. There are 5 sections. The food bath, 3 foot reflexology areas and a separate room for body massages (divided by curtains)There were 3 tv's on the the wall each equipped with cable channels. We were the only one's there (except a fella who left 5 mins after we arrived). Lounging on the big reclining sofa, I enjoyed myself to a 45 min foot massage while watching Taiwanese entertainment news. Seriously, Taiwan has way too many singers/ stars. One news after another.. though I can't exactly remember any of them. Proves how "entertained" I was.

The foot massage was excellent!! The amount of pressure was just nice... I remember my previous experiences elsewhere, they were all PAINFUL, I was cringing all the way.

So there I was, so impressed with the the massage, I went on for Head and shoulder massage. (I was waiting for my dad, he had the full body massage, so I figured, why the heck not)The whole experience was excellent. Highly recommended if you are not fussed about the set up. Imagine minimalistic. Vote: 4/5

Wall Climbing

Yay... another achievement!!! I went wall climbing. Wasn't too sure if I would be scared of heights, or whether I'll have enough energy to climb. Didn't have to worry much though. In the end, I managed to go all the way up!! The whole experience was really exhilarating! There's a sense of accomplishment whenever you manage to pull yourself to the top.

Location btw is EXCELLENT!!! One Utama, for those who don't know, this is one of the main shopping malls in KL...I went errands shopping after that!! Bought my "Health" food ie cereals... For those who want to go singing, KARAOKE, there's one newly opened centre next to the climbing area.

Eyelash?!!

Hellooo... what is with guys being SSSOOOOOO UNOBSERVANT??!!!!

Went for eyelash extensions last Tuesday. My ma noticed the extensions straight away.. can't say much for the other members..

AND again over at my cousin's place on Friday, the females noticed... but the guys... sigh... Not that I'm expecting any reaction, at least to know something is DIFFERENT!!

Note: to those who want eyelash extensions... think twice before you get it, especially if u wear spectacles. At the moment, I have to wear my glasses down my nose.. it's like grandma style!! Majorly inconvenient. Eyelash keeps poking into glasses etc.. BTW, splashing water on face is a major NO NO as well... need to wipe around the eyes, imagine showering. =(

Mooncake/ Lantern Festival

Yay... It's a Friday!! And a very free one at it.. Was happily doing up my blog and surfing the net.

Went over to my aunt's place to celebrate lantern festival... It was the usual cousinly gathering, ie, it's an excuse to indulge in various home cooked food AND most importantly... the entertainment subsequent to dinner.. Mah Jong/ Gin Rummy... =)

Let's put it this way, I'm not very good at the games. *Sigh* Even the under-dog, my first time playing cousin, beat us, the more "seasoned" players. That was the beginning, wasn't too sure what the outcome was though. Went home relatively early, had to sleep early (needed to wake up for my wall climbing "expedition") and my bro wanted to go as well.
